Miami Open 2026: Henry Patten & Harri Heliovaara Reach Men's Doubles Final
Henry Patten and Harri Heliovaara advanced to the Miami Open final by defeating top-seeded Marcelo Granollers and Horacio Zeballos 6–2, 6–3 in just over an hour. The victory extended their winning streak to 11 matches as they pursue their fourth ATP title this season.
The British-Finnish partnership has demonstrated exceptional form across recent tournaments, claiming titles in Doha, Dubai, and Adelaide earlier this year. Throughout the Miami tournament, they have yet to drop a set.
Their performance against the top seeds was particularly dominant — they converted their break opportunities efficiently while saving all eight break points faced. In the opening set, they established control by breaking serve twice, while their serving in the second set proved nearly impenetrable, surrendering only seven points during the 38-minute set.
Patten and Heliovaara will face seventh-seeded Italian duo Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori in the final. The third-seeded pair has previously defeated this Italian combination twice this season en route to their Doha and Adelaide championships, suggesting they possess a strategic advantage heading into the match.
