Club Constitution

The following sets out the rules and governance of Benson Tennis Club as agreed by the membership.

Name

The club shall be known as Benson Tennis Club.

Objectives

The objectives of the club are to promote tennis in the local community, provide facilities for members to play, and to compete in local and national leagues.

Membership

Membership is open to all persons subject to payment of the appropriate fee. The committee reserves the right to refuse membership in exceptional circumstances.

Committee

The club shall be governed by a committee consisting of: Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and up to six other members elected at the Annual General Meeting.
